"Oscar was an absolutely outstanding bartender—knowledgeable, personable, and a true asset to the experience. His expertise went far beyond crafting excellent drinks; he had an impressive depth of knowledge about the local area, including its history, hidden gems, and the surrounding distilleries. His recommendations were thoughtful and spot-on, and his passion for whisky and the region really came through in every conversation. Oscar’s warm hospitality and genuine enthusiasm made the experience far more memorable, and we truly appreciated the time..."

"We were in Room 17. In general the hotel is welcoming and has great staff who make you feel at ease. Downside was the mattress was soft. I lifted the sheets to take a look. Wow, it was a health hazard covered in stains. I’ve honestly never seen that in a hotel and at over £300 per night I wouldn’t expect to have to sleep on that. The food was good and portions big! The whisky bar had a great..."

"We visited today for food after a distillery tour nearby, really lovely place. Food was delicious and super quick service. We went upstairs to the whiskey bar, the bartender was absolutely brilliant, so knowledgable and really friendly. He knew his whiskey stuff for sure! If you’re in the area this place is worth a visit."

"2 night stay with the dog, proper dog friendly hotel, allowed everywhere, even for breakfast. Staff were great, so friendly and attentive and they all seemed happy in their job which comes across and just makes your stay so relaxing. We had dinner in the bar/restraunt and was the highlight of our holiday around Scotland. The food was 5 star and quick service. The whiskey bar was located on the 1st floor with reception and breakfast room. Huge selection of..."

"Stopped off for some food after a tour of Glenfiddich distillery, service was great, food was faultless, I had the Spey burger and my wife had the Rumbledethumps. I also had the Speyside lager, which was lovely. It happened to be my 40th the day we stopped by, I’m a huge whisky fan and was in absolute awe at the Quaitch bars array of whiskies. The young chap behind the bar there was quite possibly the most knowledgeable person I’ve..."

"I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. This is where you want to stay if you are doing whiskey tastings. Make sure you go to the Quaich bar and ask for Oscar- they have over 700 whiskeys! The food at the Spey Inn i(downstairs) is next level. I had the best fish and chips ever and Elise was an exceptional food guide. And you can walk to nearby spots if you want something outside of a hotel. The..."
